Full Moon in Pisces says, “Lover, don’t stop dreaming”

Dear Friend,

This whole day has felt like a Full Moon meditation as I write this Love Note in my pjs from my pillow-laden bed.

I needed MarĆa Sabina’s medicine today (thank you, Lora, for posting).

Wise Words from a Medicine WomanĀ

Cure yourself with the light of the sun and the rays of the moon.Ā
With the sound of the river
and the waterfall.Ā
With the swaying of the sea and
the fluttering of the birds.Ā

Heal yourself with the mint and the mint leaves, with neem and eucalyptus.Ā
Sweeten yourself with lavendar, rosemary and chamomile.Ā

Hug yourself with the cocoa bean and
a touch of cinnamon.Ā
Put love in tea instead of sugar. And take it looking at the stars.Ā

Heal yourself with the kisses that the wind gives you and the hugs of the rain.
Get strong with bare feet on the ground and with everything that is born from it.Ā

Get smarter every day by listening
to your intuition,
looking at the world with the eye
of your forehead.Ā

Jump, dance, sing,
so that you live happier.Ā

Heal yourself with beautiful love and always remember
you are the medicine.Ā

~MarĆa Sabina, Mexican curandera and poet

I’ve spent a lot of time lately thinking about bodies.

Did our souls have the full scope of just how challenging it would be to experience both the pain and beauty in our physical form?

Two years ago, I watched my stepfather’s body exhale its last breath as lung cancer did what his heart attack and perforated ulcers had failed to do. I’ve been reeling for months now about the two children I know and love who’ve  been sexually violated. Last week, I read about how another black body was shot down. I feel anger, the heart-breaking sadness about this loss of life, this loss of innocence. In disbelief, I shake my head “no” while asking, “What are we doing here?”

These bodies, our soft, vulnerable bodies. When will we realize how precious each one is?

I can imagine Pisces, the Visionary Dreamer, the Mystical Lover (I see her in Goddess form), saying, “You already know, my love.”

But somehow we exit the birth canal, take our first breath and forget who we are, where we came from, why we’re here, the Dreamer who needs to dream herself awake, so she stops hooking into the drama and the nightmare that keep her small and asleep.

So we heroically shapeshift into the Witness to take in what we’re seeing while also feeling the weight of what we’re seeing because our bodies are the Record Keepers as much as they are the Wisdom Keepers.

The courage of the Witness doesn’t allow herself to marinade in collective fears, stew in personal anxiety, set fire to conspiracy theories or bypass hard conversations or uncomfortable feelings. She’s a Lover.

With Her hands outstretched, Healing is here. The earthy Virgo Sun with Her penetrating Goddess and Priestess gaze will boomerang your attention right back to your body, mind and soul if you’re not tending to yourself first, showing you where you are or are not nourishing yourself while you navigate the disruptive energies on this planet right now.

The Full Moon in Visionary Pisces holds keys for your Dream for this planet because the Mystical Lover inside of you will never let you stay stuck for long, her powerful energy liberating what’s poised to be set free, ready to bring you an empowering message if you can grow silent enough to listen to Her transmission.

If
you can’t hear the next steps or see the new vision, the unprocessed, undigested feelings blocking Love’s higher frequencies will need some space to move. Welcome the giant swells of emotion in when they arrive to your shore, sweetheart, because that’s how you move through.

And pray.

Then tend to your heart, take care of your nervous system, resting and retreating for a while in the dark. You’ll feel the sun on your face again. Follow the sage words of the Mystic-Lover-Poet Hafiz…

Just sit there right now.
Don’t do a thing.
Just rest.

Your separation from [Love]
is the hardest work in this world.

Let me bring you trays of food
and something you like to drink.

You can use my soft words
as a cushion for your head.

The Visionary Dreamer and the Mystical Lover know that transformation and transcendance can have sweet moments tooInvoke them both, allowing these Piscean archetypal forces to significantly shape the Cosmic Love Story you agreed to do your part to unfold.

Resting my head
on some soft words,
in love and honor,
Jenn

YOUR INVITATION THIS FULL MOON
The Full Moon is a time of releasing the past, of surrender, of ending a cycle.

What are you ready to release?
Share in the comments below and what part of the Dream you’re claiming for the planet.

Below are two suggestions in how to attune inward
to see where you’re situated within this Great Metamorphosis and to receive messages of love, guidance and healing for the Mystic, the Lover and Dreamer in you.

TAROT/ORACLE CARD SPREADĀ
Dive into your subconscious at the same time you access your Higher Wisdom. Breathe into an intention based on where you’re at right now and pull five cards for this spread.Ā

1. What pattern or cycle in my life is about to come to an end?Ā

2. What is emerging from the depths of my soul?Ā

3. What supports my healing and transformation?Ā

4. Who is standing with me? (choose the same or different oracle card deck to see Who your ally is)

5. Who am I becoming in this Cosmic Love Story?Ā

SOUND HEALING:Ā
Science and Spirit alike know theĀ power of sound to heal ourselves on many levels.Ā Listening to a song stirs up emotion and can soothe our minds, calm our hearts, but it can also upload the programs, beliefs and feelings we have buried deeply in our subconscous or the ones hovering just below the surface of our awareness.

Like this song below.

I haven’t been able to stop playing this song or watching the video for the last few weeks and wanted to share it with you here. The mesmerizing dance performance is by Alice Graf Mack (who’s also the choreographer);Ā the beautiful lyrics and music from Jon Batiste.

Close your eyes.
Call up your most beautiful dream.
See yourself on that timeline where the dream lives and breathes.
ThenĀ
invite this song and dance into your soul.

  1. Thank you for writing this love note. Simple yet powerful ideas to contemplate and feelings to swim through. Thank you for the tarot spread. I felt your father around you while you were writing. I’m sorry for your loss.

  2. As usual not disappointed by your wise words. The Tarot spread was so apt for me and just acknowledged, reinforced the path I am now on. Of course, a poem to bind it all came too. Thank you beautiful Jenn Kosh! x

    1. Thank you, beautiful Irene!! Love hearing that the tarot confirmed the path you’re on–isn’t that the way though. I love you, Friend, I can’t wait to read the poem. And please post here if you feel guided. xo

      1. I had to share part of your invocation here, Irene:

I no longer need to compromise
        I know myself, as wise
I can be Brave and know
The path I need to go
A moment in time of disbelief
Wallowing in a state of grief
        Nourishment now abounds
My noble skills, know no bounds
        Overcoming what may oppose
        By following Truth, I chose
My vision integral, so I set it free
        With courage and tenacity
I am the Queen who will help another
Less fortunate or who needs cover
        My responsibility is to protect.

And here’s Irene’s IG acct to read some more: @healing.intuit

        Love you, Irene

  3. Jenn – thank you for this heartfelt offering. I too am left with more questions at this time as to how and why the world is unfolding the way that it is. The poems are beautiful and I’m drawn to Hafiz’s line, ‘Your separation from love is the hardest work in the world’.

I believe I am finally beginning to let go of resistance to others words and actions. When I’ve come across resistance to anything in relation to family, friends, co-workers etc. over the past few weeks, I find myself pulling back and letting things be. The social-political advocate in me struggles but I remind myself that I know my heart and my quest for peace both for myself and others.

    Namaste,
    Mridula.

    1. Dear Mridula, I felt my deep exhale/your deep exhale(??) in reading what you just wrote about letting go of resistance to others’ words and actions. Surrender to more expansive energies and visions for ourselves, one another and this planet while calling forth the energy to see how we carry out this visionary dream. Seems to be a key theme this Full Moon. Love you and your questing heart for peace.

  4. As always Jenn so amazing!! It was just the thing I needed to read with everything I’m embarking on. Interesting tarot spread, lots of pentacles. I am becoming The World!! Love you xoxo

    1. Did you get the World too? Lol. Me too!! In that final spot–such a Pisces card. Good luck with your beautiful course you’ve created in healing ancestral trauma AND accessing our ancestors’ gifts too–I can’t wait to take it. I find it so amazing that we’re both starting circles the exact same time. You and I have done that for many years in different ways.

  5. Beautiful Jenn and such an important time to be reminded that it is okay to retreat and nourish ourselves right now. We all need it, the planet needs it! Let’s all listen deeply to what we need to do individually and collectively to support ourselves and each other.

Love your lunar love notes and your soul!
    Jacquie xo

    1. Hey sister. Thank you for reading and responding. What a difference a day of rest makes–and yes to listening deeply to ourselves, one another and the song for this beautiful planet of ours (and listening to Jon Batiste!!). Love you.

P.S. I’m making some nourishing soup today–yesterday was the day of rest. Nourish, rest and repeat.
