Full Moon in Sagittarius: There’s Really Only the One Big Move to Make

Which way you ought to go depends on where you want to get to…
~Lewis Carroll, Alice in Wonderland

To You Explorers of Inner Worlds and Faraway Lands:

I have no doubt that Alice and Neo are Sagittarius souls.

Alice in Wonderland, the Adventurer, whose dissatisfaction with her life, led her to a tumble down a rabbit hole, and Neo, unfulfilled in the matrix, swallowed a red pill that would unplug him from life as he was programmed to know it.

While we may not fall into a hole or pop a red pill of the reality-bending kind this Full Moon on June 17 at 1:30 am PST (if you do, please write!!), bigger forces are at play alongside this Lunar Love energy, inviting us to question how well we’re exploring our potential in creating a life authentically our own.

A Full Moon is a sacred time to consider the archetypal themes of the zodiac sign that the Moon is shining a light on.

And believe me, as a soul here to love, Sagittarius is a sign worth turning the light on.

Risk and rebellion, faith and freedom, faith in freedom, truth-telling amidst the truth-seeking, mystics and masters, prophets and preachers, spiritual teachings from spiritual teachers, prosperity and potential, identity and integrity, esteem and expression, expansion and experimentation–some of the Fire-Starting themes that Sagittarius lights us up with.

But a Full Moon phase lasts less than 3 days, offering us only the briefest of pitstops to reflect about matters important to us en route to the unfolding of a happy, purpose-filled life.

However, a bigger player, a cosmic force of nature, an influential star of a most important celestial show is also in Sagittarius giving us more time to explore these themes in our lives.

Yes, the planet Jupiter has been visiting Sagittarius since last November BUT went retrograde in April and will be there until it stations direct August 11, 2019.

What does this mean for us? asks the don’t-know-must-know grasshopper whose Sun is in Sagittarius for sure.

Well, you see Jupiter is the modern ruler of Sagittarius–who for centuries now runs the family business of making our lives matter, our reason for being here so juicy and compelling that when we’re asked to change, challenged to grow and stretched to expand, we’ll do it.

Which can get a little tricky because Sagittarius energy can take you down many lit-up paths, loving action and adventure the way the Explorer and the Wanderer does.

But when party-time Sagittarius has you tired of the loud resorts and the long road trips, the fiestas and the fun-loving friends, the Master who you are will become quiet enough to lean into the soul’s longing for an even greater journey: an adventure in consciousness--perfectly setting you up to work with a planetary phenomenon like the Jupiter Retrograde we have going on at the present time.

At this pitstop, you can give yourself the gift of a longer rest and a more nourishing retreat to explore the inner realms of your mind, the unfamiliar landscape of your heart, the unmapped territory of your soul to see how much clarity you have in your reason for being here, faith in what you are doing and wisdom in how you are loving.

At the midpoint of this retrograde (which happened about a week ago), your day-to-day life will have shown you the specific Sagittarius material your soul is working to digest at this time in your life.

Maybe a collaboration that had been inspiring has lost its lustre, a project that once held meaning feels less important or a dream that used to burn at the forefront of your consciousness is barely being warmed on the backburner.

Maybe you’re face-to-face with an overbearing personality or a stagnant relationship, both of which can feel like death to a Soul who inherently knows she’s meant to be living in the free and clear.

Or maybe Jupiter’s optimism has had you overpromising and underdelivering at work or with a friend, inflating your potential, exaggerating your goals making them impossible to achieve.

Maybe you’re overcome with a serious case of low self-worth or crippling self-doubt about whether or not you have the desire or even the capacity to make your specific dreams come true.

And while tomorrow you may not be fully aware of how to proceed or what to transform, you do have access over time, as we all do, to an unlimited number of ways to break up the monotony, to set yourself free, to get the healing, to release the suffering, to call for clarity and to move forward anyways–step by little, courageous step–which is how all great journeys begin anyway.

Call on the Sagittarius energy this Full Moon to guide you through this precious time we have with Jupiter in Retrograde to find deeper meaning and greater expansion in your life in the areas that are calling out for your attention.

Release what needs to be released in a ceremony of your own making.

Keep your mind flexible, your heart open and your faith strong in a Universe which is working diligently on your behalf to attain your worldly and heavenly pursuits.

And before you know it, Sagittarius’s fire will burn brighter than ever, fixing your eyes on the wide, wide road ahead and what’s potentially around the bend, having you feel so damn grateful to be holding hands with Serendipity once again, who’s always conspiring with signs a-plenty showing how to live a life of our dreams.

Make the big move you know you need to make– that inner shift in awareness, the tumble down the rabbit hole, the swallowing of the truth-altering medicine.

I took the red pill and admittedly bumped and bruised my head on the way down the hole, but I’m on a grand adventure in consciousness and I see that you’re here too.

Stay close.
Love Jenn

P.S. Tell us about your adventure in consciousness in the comments below. What’s the edge your walking? What does Jupiter Retrograde have you transforming so you can live your Personal Legend?

P.P.S If you know someone who’s feeling like they’re stuck in a teeny, tiny rut or a big, hairy roadblock, please forward this article along and tell them that Alice was once here too!!! Wonderland here we come.

P.P.P. S. (I used to write my grandmother and great-grandmother letters that were built around the P.S.’s — thanks for indulging me). And THANK YOU for all the love and support you’ve shown Chris and me on Facebook and IG after we announced on Sunday our big move to Vancouver Island in two weeks!! We can’t wait to be going home to beautiful Victoria.

  1. Full moon message is on point 🔥🙏😍. I often feel my strong intuition pushing me along in this life as if cruise control is my comfort. But everytime I read your messages, I’m so grateful to feel that I’m on the right path as your words are often my thoughts (but my story lol) and I feel confident that I’m not crazy or alone. Thank you even when you don’t mean to for the connection and the sisterhood. ❤️
