New Moon in Pisces: The Mystic and the Dreamer, They Will Be Loved

How often have you sailed in my dreams?
And now you come in my awakening which is my deeper dream.
~Khalil Gibran

Holá mis amigas,

I’m writing from a beautiful beach in Mexico where the spirit of the land and the hearts of the people seem to bring me to tears each and every time I visit this sacred land.

There are no walls here separating any of us from the Beauty and the Love that Mexico and Her people are.

Last night, I was given this dream.

I’m flying far above a crystal-clear ocean watching people swimming in the waters beneath me.

Underneath each person swims a gigantic reptilian fish—ancient, scaly, part whale, part shark, mechanical in its slow-moving movements.

I’m scared for the people in the water because the brownish-green creature is so large and so dark, mirroring the swimmers’ movements precisely.

But the Angel who flies beside me whispers that the people floating in the transparent waters below cannot see what is moving beneath them.

I woke up realizing my dream’s profound message:

many of us live unaware of the part of our subconscious (represented by the water in my dream) that is ruled by the primitive part of our brains (symbolized by the reptilian creature). We’ve been neurally wired to follow fight, flight or freeze impulses that protect us from mortal danger but will stop us from moving forward when we are supposed to—no matter how beautiful our dream is.

But we’re in the Time of Pisces whose message this New Moon (March 6) is clear—there’s no need to swim in dark waters for so long.

Instead, we must dream ourselves awake, swimming to the Light.

Embodying the archetypes of the Visionary Dreamer and the Mystic, Pisces’ dreams are often the biggest in the zodiac family, gifted Pisces is tuning into universal oceans of consciousness and cosmic seas of insight to access the beautiful dreams.

To assist the dream-catching, some people are water-heavy in their astrological makeup, comfortable swimming deep into the subconscious, exploring and experiencing a vast range of emotions while dismantling the reptilian programs that prevent dreams from materializing in the waking hours.

Others feel like they are drowning.

Being an Empath, Pisces (as do all water signs) often pay an emotional and mental price for their deeply feeling and seeing natures when they forget to prioritize self-love and self-care.

They feel too much, intuit the rest, not knowing what emotions or thoughts are theirs or what is someone else’s, succumbing in the many ways the Addict and the Escape Artist programs cause humans to live and communicate directly and authentically.

However, a Pisces waking up in Love invites us to take responsibility for our creations, so we do not see ourselves as Victim or Martyr in how and where our dreams may have taken us and who we might have encountered along the way.

Pisces, symbolized by the Fish, reminds us that Earth is a watery place and we are watery creatures living here.  Designed to swim in the waters (albeit sometimes rough), we will be looking to rise to the surface to breathe Inspiration, to inhale Light.

With the Sun, the Moon, Mercury (now retrograde until the 28th) and Neptune in Pisces, we have more access than ever to those beautiful dreams of ours and how to swim towards them.

How to Work with the Archetypes & This New Moon:

Within the New Moon phase (48 hours of golden opportunity), many who follow Her realize what a potent time it is to write our positively-framed intentions around what our hearts most desire. Below are some suggested areas of focus.

THE DREAMER: Calling in the Visionary Dreamer to guide you, take some time to tune in, asking Which dreams of mine feel true? Which ones need to be released?

Ask your Deeper Self who is fearless about delving into the realm of emotions: Which dreams have stalled because my subconscious is operating from programs controlled by reptilian fears (loss, death, failure, attachment, rejection, dishonesty)?

If you’re uninspired by your dreams, call in the Muse, the Artist and the Enchantress during your New Moon ritual. Ask for seeds of consciousness to be planted around magical, evolutionary dreams or to show you the next steps to take to revitalize the old ones.

THE LOVER: If you know you have a big heart and are a natural Giver but feel exhausted or burned out by the way you’re serving or feel resentful in the imbalance between the giving and the receiving, tune in and ask: Which parts of you are truly giving from a place of deep Inspiration and Magic? Where are you compromising your True Self while playing roles and wearing masks that are dimming the light of your Magnificence?

Know that Pisces longs to grow past the self-sabotage programs of the Victim and Martyr that might have you sacrificing too much of your personal joy at the very big cost of your peace, joy and fulfilment.

Pisces, the archetypes of the Romantic but also the Illusionist and the Secret-Keeper, is also healing stories that might have swept her up or away in a fantasy that is based on unrequited rather than True Love.

Pisces is learning that she is a Healer and a Lover, yes, but she is also here to be healed and loved in return. Her romantic notions are not to remain formless, accessible only in the Dreamtime.

THE PSYCHIC: Pisces energy easily dissolves the veils between the seen and unseen worlds.

Create an intention of something you would like to manifest or something you would like to know. Based on that intention, tune in to multi-dimensional realms through a tarot card reading, a channelled message from your guides or an intuitive astrology reading given by yourself or someone you trust.

There are many ways to know.

Swimming in New Waters:

This Pisces deep dive reminds us that although we live in a vast, oceanic playground of Love, sometimes to know the power of swimming in the deep waters of Love we might be temporarily lost in the dark.

But as disempowered and disenchanted as we might feel at times, we will always rise stronger swimmers in greater magical streams.

Looking to play in deep blue waters,
     under cerulean skies
in a world of magic,

Jenn

  1. Thank you Jen. Your dream was so vivid. I could picture my own shadows swimming underneath me and how important it is to always call in the light. How awesome your connection to those realms. I so look forward to your lunar love notes each new moon and full moon.

    1. Thanks so much, Tara. I love knowing you looking forward to these articles–I LOVE writing them. My own Moon is in Pisces so my dreams have always been quite vivid. However, my conscious connection to those multidimensional friends didn’t happen until later on in life–upon a serious request when I was around 30 years old. How about you? Is the Psychic or Empath a part of who you are in an obvious, practical way?

  2. Thank you Jenn for showing how we can work with the archetypes for this new moon. The guiding questions are super helpful, especially when my brain is on overload! Beautifully written and wow what a dream! I will book a session with you for an astrological reading on where Uranus is in my chart too!

Happy mooning! Enjoy your precious moments in paradise! xoxo

    1. Thanks, Jacquie! The dream was one of those ones you never forget. I’m always grateful for that type of insight. Yes!! That’s great about session. Uranus in Taurus for next 7 years. We will have lots to talk about!! Xoxoxo
