New Moon in Scorpio: Sex, Magick, Love and the Path of the Tantrika

To You Lovers of the Moon, the Lovers of Light:

I may have five planets in Libra, but I came here to learn the Scorpio ways.

Love. Power. Magic. Sex. Transformation. Wholeness.

The archetypes of the Witch, the Shaman, the Healer, the Alchemist, the Lover and the Tantrika.

Who could resist Scorpio’s seductive ways?

Not I, she said.

And on this New Moon in watery, emotion-fuelled, love-is-the-path Scorpio (November 7 at 9:01 am MST), you don’t have to, as you reflect on the creative and destructive energies of Her divine design in your life.

An Initiate of Scorpio energy will learn to move to Her wild, sensual, magnetic ways, but you’ve danced with Scorpio’s shadow as well

—dark energies played out in dark experiences and relationships that were controlling, demeaning, secretive, manipulative, explosive, vengeful.

Yes, we’ve all gone through Kali-initiated, Tower-tumbling, skin-shedding initiations in which we’ve been split and stripped down, cracked and crushed, the pain so intense that we know we’ll never be the same.

And that’s the truth.  And that’s the point.

The healing touch of Scorpio in Her exalted form as Lover is to be intimate with this pain, to be transformed by it—not to drown in it, become bitter by it or lash out at others over it.

She feels it all. Fully.

And learns to let it go.

The Scorpio New Moon is beckoning us now to feel our emotions through heart-centered channels—and with soul-infused reasoning.

Through radical vulnerability and perfect self-worth, the Divine Feminine is removing her veils one ecstatic motion at a time, willingly showing the Masculine how to move with her so that their union is rooted in soul, invested in intimacy.

However, cultures global-wide still negatively view this type of energy—it’s too unstable, too erotic, too expressive, too damn emotional, some say.

Thankfully, we’re making waves so big that the lines in the sands of a crueller time are dissolving.

Desire and sensual pleasure are keys to Scorpio’s evolutionary path.

Enter the Tantrika, but not the kind you’ve read about in mainstream magazines in which orgasms and positions are the sole focus.

The Tantrika holds the energy of unconditional love and the intent of freedom, intimacy, creativity and wholeness.

Yes, you may have great sex too in a variety of positions, but the Tantrika as a path of Mastery is devoted to seeing the Divine within every one and every experience, using sexual energy for spiritual illumination and powerful manifestation.

And when we’re transformed through experiencing the bliss of knowing the True Self in everyone and everything, we may choose to express Love in physical union with another, our intense pleasure rippling throughout the world with powerful healing vibrations.

But how can that happen if the undeniable passion you feel for someone has led you to your lover’s bed, lying next to him rubbing his arm, touching her back, knowing deep within that you’re not really touching them at all?

We have donned many intricate masks designed to protect us from ever feeling hurt, those times we were rejected, violated, shamed, humiliated or cast aside. Too much scarring from emotional wounds never healed, not yet exposed. The hurt self declaring: I will be in control. I will never be rejected, violated, shamed, humiliated or cast aside again.

We may attract those wearing sparkly, seductive masks themselves, drawing to us deeply painful relationships that’ll make us feel one way or another the emotions and false programs calling to be alchemized.

The shadow of the deceptive, hypnotic Snake-Charmer within and without.

So many ways we’ve chosen to learn as souls.

Now it’s the Lover’s turn as the Scorpio part of your soul lets Her True Nature shine brighter, asking the Lover in her many higher-self guises to take 100% responsibility for healing 100% of the wounds.

Invoke Her.

Scorpio as an archetypal Ally holds many beliefs, programs, qualities and insights that’ll show you the Magick that unleashes when Love leads the way.

Maybe you call her Witch, Goddess, Shaman, Healer, Alchemist—any one of them will do when your Higher Self is aligned and you’re operating from truth.

Thankfully, Scorpio as an archetypal path is undergoing an Evolution uniquely hers, gathering power to raise her frequency, unlocking transformation that will permanently alter how we relationship with ourselves and one another.

But to open up to these alchemical, magical Scorpio archetypes within our Divine Blueprint, we must be willing to go deep into the watery pools of our emotions—with or without a lifejacket.

The evolutionary point is that we haven’t always been taught to swim so well while we’re immersed in situations and relationships that trigger our growth as Souls.

Our wounded and often shattered egos have etched stories of humiliation, hurt and unforgiveness of the terrible and confusing things that’ve happened to us, compounded by the Spell we’ve been under, cast long ago.

A Spell that caused us to forget about the Alchemists and Magicians we inherently are, the ones who wield a powerful wand within to heal the wound, to transmute the pain, to know our true worth, allowing us to experience the deepest, most powerful emotional and physical realms as a path of self-mastery.

This New Moon, through Divine Protection and Grace and the Scorpio archetypes of your choosing, dive deep into gaining awareness about a wound that needs some tending, allowing the release of the emotional weight stored inside, the one that’s felt too raw or too ugly to show.

And thank you. Your wounds and their healing have medicine and teachings for us all.

Witch. Magician. Alchemist. Lover. Sorceress. Tantrika.

Who could resist her magnetic, healing ways?

Not I, we said.

Deep diving (most of the time),
Love Jenn

  1. Thank you Jenn for your insights and knowledge about this new moon. How do we release these deep wounds? I am so looking forward to the day you write your archetypes book! It will be amazing!

I hope you have a creative new moon! Blessings to you as always! xo

    1. Jacquie! You asked the question and I’m not sure if it was rhetorical but I’d say if there’s a deep wound, even saying in a moment of deep sincerity and willingness, “Show me how to heal what needs to be healed so I can remember and realize myself in my Love and my Innocence”–that would be a start. Love you and the book is coming!

  2. Happy New Moon! I love your writing and your take on archetypes. I didn’t know they were so powerful. I especially loved the part about the Divine Feminine dancing with the Masculine and helping the Masculine to rise. I have an image in that in my mind that is so strong. Thank you for that. Blessings to you.

    1. Happy New Moon to you, Karly! I can see the image as well and it’s beautiful and filled with so much love and tender intimacy. I hope you have a beautiful day and New Moon ceremony (if you do one) celebrating the Scorpio part of your soul.

  3. I want to know more about the Tantrika, please!!!!!! Great article. I’m feeling Scorpio big time. Love the positive spin on a sign that’s gotten a bad wrap. Keep up the good work.

    1. Thanks, Marika. Those Scorpio baths–the waters can be dark and wide and deep. Sending you lots of love and light, sister.
