New Moon in Virgo: When the Goddess Says Beautiful

ARTWORK: “Hermit” by Margherita Arkaura

To the Goddess that dances in all of you.  I see you.

New Moon in Virgo – Friday, August 30 at 3:37 am Pacific Time

With a stellium of planets in Virgo (the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Mars) and with most of the other planets in earth or water signs (all feminine energy), we’re being asked to birth a new paradigm of Love in our lives like we’ve never seen before.

And in this transition, the Goddess, standing in all her power and grace as part of the Virgo tribe, is calling us to come closer to feel Her Love.

A Love like we’ve never felt before.

Recently in an interview on the podcast “Healer Dealer” hosted by L.A. lady Diana Zalucky (link below), I found myself admitting one of my deepest desires on air (she asks good questions):

I hesitated a moment, but the words came out as if I were under Her spell:

I confessed, “To know what it means to embody the Goddess energy.”

But not just any Goddess energy.

I said, “Goddess Beautiful.”

For a split moment, I thought the small self would’ve tossed me into a shame spiral for having been that vulnerable (I’d told only a few people), but the Truth of these two words for me was stronger than any self-judgment my Critic might have doled out.

Goddess Beautiful.

Prior to 2017, I would’ve cringed using the word “Goddess” to describe any part of who I am, having deliberately repressed the feminine Force of Love in my life from the time I was a teenager, viewing the masculine as the safer, stronger place to be.

However, in February 2017, the Universe launched a divinely lit-up plan to move me in the direction of my soul’s longing to remember my eternal essence and my desire in this lifetime to impact and inspire others—one person at a time.

Three sessions with three different women had brought the Goddess through, for them I thought, but it turned out Her Hand was reaching for mine too.

And so the Goddess came and I began to see Her and hear Her whispers of Loving Guidance everywhere—starting with Durga, then Kali, White Buffalo Woman, Lakshmi, Kuan Yin, Green Tara and Matangi. The list grew.

The Goddess no longer became an abstract concept or even a beloved archetype I could expound upon endlessly. Instead, She became the Divine Hand in her many emnations leading me up the next rungs of the evolutionary ladder.

And here’s how that has gone:

Intention A: To know, to feel, to embody what Goddess Beautiful means.
Intention B: To work through everything that stands in the way of that.

Any programs I’ve had with aging, my body, my appearance, my purpose, my value and my worth have been in my face on a fairly consistent basis.

Because what you seek in the outer has to be realized first in the inner–which was what the whole intention behind Goddess Beautiful was for me anyway.

In my 40s, I’ve ached for the knowing, of a fully embodied realization of my worth, my value, my beauty, my sacredness and my power, so whether I received a compliment or a criticism, a kiss on the lips or a metaphorical slap in the face, all of which could bend me wildly in any direction, I could quickly right myself, standing firm in the unwavering truth that I am Goddess Beautiful

I wouldn’t have to look outside anymore to receive something I had remembered within.

On this New Moon in Virgo, the sign of the Goddess dazzling us from up above, each one of us has an extraordinary opportunity under Her watchful Eye to align to our most beautiful inner desires–Goddess style.

In the process, Virgo in Her shadow form will challenge you to eradicate the relentlessly cruel program of “you’re not enough,” so you can love yourself fully and accept yourself completely.

Because you can’t rise higher without breaking the chains of what’s holding you down.

The most powerful thing you could ever do and BE towards loving this planet and loving yourself is to claim what it is you desire, to proclaim how you are and how you serve, walking your evolutionary edges and engaging in the inner work that will always be necessary to rise.

And under the kind light of the Virgo New Moon who asks us to engage in Service to Humanity in ways we find beautiful, rise, Goddess Beautiful. It’s time to shine.

Love Jenn

YOUR NEW MOON CEREMONY:

The Goddess is always present, but because of free will, She does not step forth unless you invoke Her.

Without creating the silence to ask for her Loving Guidance and the Presence to witness the sacredness of how we came here to serve and who we came here to be, we may find ourselves caught up in a world of distraction that takes us farther and farther away from knowing and living as our True Self.

Ceremony and ritual connect us with the Virgo High Priestess who knows the power of ritual and the Hermit who knows the soul’s need for sacred space to hear the Higher Call within.

So we pray and we chant, we write and we burn, we paint and we draw, we sing and we dance–whatever it takes to connect with the Goddess within.

And to those who are brave enough to ask the questions, find your Book of Truth, turn the pages and read between the lines, these questions are for you:

  1. What do I find beautiful within me?
  2. Is my life (my relationships, my health, my work…) a reflection of this truth?
  3. What am I in denial about?
  4. What belief must I release?
  5. How can I open myself up to the Goddess working in my life?
  6. What action can I take to remember myself as a Creative Force of Loves

  3. Just listened to the podcast after being intrigued by what you write about Goddess Beautiful. I have not felt that way my whole life even though people say I am “beautiful.” A lot of bad stuff has happened to me and I sure don’t feel good on the inside. I’ll try your pillar approach and will work with what you said. I know it will be a process but I feel I came here to read this article for a reason. Blessings and gratitude.
